Shoot Proposal
Prepared for Hayley · 31 August 2026

Seven client films from one Saturday.

You’ve got six or seven of your clients coming to Studio 88 and Mak on the stills. I’m there for the video, so you leave with a film from every client, a highlight video of the day, and a folder of everything else to cut your own reels from later.

01 · What I film

What I’m filming on the day

Three things, and they do different jobs for you.

The testimonial corner
One spot with proper lighting and sound, and I run your clients through it one at a time. Each person gets one question, and a different question per person. One good question gives you about thirty seconds worth keeping. Five questions gives you ten minutes nobody watches.
The room, while Mak works
You’ve got Mak on the stills so I’m not doubling up on photos. I’m filming everything around it instead. Your clients getting ready, the nerves before, the laughing after, you talking someone through a pose. That is the stuff you cannot restage afterwards.
The clip library
Every usable shot off the day gets colour graded and dropped in a folder for you, not just the offcuts from the films. That is the bank you pull from when you want to put a reel out in December and you have nothing new to film.
02 · The day

How the day runs

Booked as five hours, 10:30 to 15:30. I work around Mak so nothing waits on me.

10:30
I set up
Lights and sound go up in the testimonial corner while everyone is still arriving and settling in.
FROM 11:00
Testimonials
One client at a time, roughly fifteen minutes each. They come to me when Mak is not using them.
THROUGHOUT
The room
Between the interviews I am filming the rest of it. Getting ready, the shooting, the reactions when they see a shot back.
BY 15:30
Wrap
If Mak is done by three, so am I. Everything is backed up twice before I leave High Wycombe.
03 · What you receive

Back in stages, starting inside a week

You don’t wait on the whole lot. The clip library lands first so you have something to post from while the films are still being cut.

  • Seven client testimonial films, one per client, cut vertical and ready to post.
  • One highlight film of the day, the whole thing in one piece, music led.
  • The full clip library, every usable shot colour graded, in a folder that is yours to keep.
  • Subtitles burned into the testimonial films, so they work with the sound off.
  • Backups kept here, so you can come back for a recut months later.
  • One folder throughout, so each delivery lands in the same place, nothing to chase.

04 · Investment

One simple number

Eight edited films is normally £800 with the clip library included. This one is a Saturday up in High Wycombe, so it is £1,000 and the fuel goes on at cost rather than getting buried in the price.

The shoot and the edit
£1,000 + VAT
Travel to High Wycombe and back is £63 on top, charged at cost. That is £1,275.60 all in including VAT, and nothing else gets added afterwards.
What that covers
  • Five hours on site, 10:30 to 15:30
  • Seven client testimonial films, edited and graded
  • One highlight film of the whole day
  • The full clip library, every usable shot graded
  • Subtitles on the testimonial films
  • Backups held here for future recuts
  • Clip library inside 7 days, highlight film ahead of the rest
  • Everything with you by 31 October

Payment. 50% deposit locks Saturday 10 October, the other 50% when the client films land. I invoice the deposit the day you say yes.

Travel. £63 for the run up to High Wycombe and back, on the final invoice at cost. It is the only thing added to the £1,000.

Not included. Photography, because Mak has that covered, and the studio hire itself, because the Studio 88 booking is yours.

05 · Next steps

What happens from here

Four things, and only the first one needs you today.

06 · After the 10th

Worth talking about later

You said you wanted a bank of behind the scenes to make your own reels from through the year. That is what the clip library is for, and I would rather you got this lot back and saw what you actually reach for first. Once you have cut a few and you know which bits you keep going back to, doing it again is a much easier conversation.

Let’s film it.

Give me the nod and I’ll get the deposit invoice over, and Saturday 10 October is locked in.
